![]() After a bit of research, I discovered that the way to fix it, once and for all, is Įvery time an app tells you to download a font, skip that dialog, but ġ. ![]() ![]() Only after about six months of this did I realise that clearly something is wrong with how these applications are downloading and storing these fonts in macOS Sierra. 2- Create Mac OS Virtual Machine On the VirtualBox, create a new virtual machine. However, the fonts were unfamiliar to me, and I had not been paying attention, so I had not realised that it is the same fonts that are being requested, and downloaded, again and again. Download Mac OS 10.13 (High Sierra) After finishing downloading, there is one file: Extract the file that you have just downloaded in a folder. Then, after some time I launch the application again, and it asks me to download a font again. The application downloads the font, and I continue with my work. Usually, they are fonts that I am unfamiliar with, but every time it happens, I dutifully say “Download”. Recently, since upgrading to macOS Sierra, I have noticed that many times when I launch Word (and, in some cases, some other applications such as ReadKit), it asks me to download some fonts.
